The battalion continues to send out official emails, but this one I knew was coming.<\/p>\n<p>This time my reaction was a bit different.  I felt that I had to look online to find out what happened, to make this Marine a real person with a face and a name.  So I turned to the Internet.<\/p>\n<p>He was a 21-year-old Marine who was described as \u201cselfless\u201d, \u201cmade people laugh\u201d, and \u201cenjoyed life\u201d.  He had 300 days left in the Marine Corps.<\/p>\n<p>I realize that searching for this information online will bring tears to my eyes, and make me sick to my stomach.\u00a0 However, it allows me to pay my respects to the Marine and his family, and ensure they are not forgotten.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today we learned about another Marine from my husband\u2019s battalion that gave the ultimate sacrifice.
