{"id":314,"date":"2010-04-15T19:02:30","date_gmt":"2010-04-16T01:02:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.myheroesathome.com\/blog\/?p=314"},"modified":"2010-04-15T19:02:30","modified_gmt":"2010-04-16T01:02:30","slug":"5-positive-things-about-deployment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.myheroesathome.com\/blog\/2010\/04\/5-positive-things-about-deployment\/","title":{"rendered":"5 Positive Things About Deployment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Okay, so I have been trying to think positively about deployment since it continues to lurk in the dark corner.<span> <\/span>Here is about all I could muster up.<span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">1.<span> <\/span>Getting the bed to myself.<span> <\/span>While it might take me a month to get use to sleeping without him, I eventually start taking up the entire bed.<span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">2.<span> <\/span>Less cleaning.<span> <\/span>My husband is a pretty clean guy, but one less person in the house means a little less dirt.<span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">3.<span> <\/span>Reading the paper or watching TV during dinner.<span> <\/span>Of course when my hubby is home, we chat during dinner about our days.<span> <\/span>However, no hubby means lonely dinners and I do my best to keep myself occupied with the news and some Access Hollywood.<span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">4.<span> <\/span>Putting my shoes in the laundry room.<span> <\/span>It is a pet peeve of my husbands if I leave a few pairs of shoes in the laundry room.<span> <\/span>When he isn\u2019t here they tend to pile up!<span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">5.<span> <\/span>Black beans for dinner.<span> <\/span>My husband is a picky eater so when he is gone I get to make things he will not eat, even black beans if I want (little to no clean up makes me happy).<span> <\/span><span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">However, I\u2019m not trying to kid myself.<span> <\/span>There is a list 5 times as long of things that I hate during deployment.<span> <\/span>But hey, you have to stay positive to survive.<span> <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Okay, so I have been trying to think positively about deployment since it continues to lurk in the dark corner.
