What holidays, birthdays, weddings and other special events will he miss?<span> <\/span>How will I survive this deployment?<span> <\/span>How will he survive this deployment?<span> <\/span>Will we be able to communicate on a regular basis?<span> <\/span>Will he come home with PTSD?<span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I tend to be somewhat of a control freak.<span> <\/span>So not being able to control the situation is especially difficult for me to deal with.<span> <\/span>I try my best to put everything in God\u2019s hands and not worry about the things I cannot control.<span> <\/span>I keep reminding myself to focus on living in the moment and spending quality time with my husband.<span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">For now, I\u2019ll continue to push these thoughts out of my head (I\u2019m hoping writing this blog will help), and realize that I will deal with them when the time comes.<span> <\/span>After all, that is all I can control.<span> <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There is so much uncertainty surrounding deployment.
